About Malcolm

for real.
Malcolm Callus has spent 34 years as a live and studio guitarist and 29 years teaching it — an RGT-registered tutor who graduated from Berklee College of Music with Honours. He’s DBS-checked, so younger players are in safe hands.
Under the name Cool Gool Music, Malcolm teaches guitar, bass, ukulele and music theory to complete beginners and gigging players alike — always with that mix of enthusiasm, discipline and knowledge his students talk about.
He runs music lessons across South East London — from the SE16 studio in Rotherhithe out to Bermondsey and Borough (SE1), Walworth (SE17), Deptford (SE8), New Cross and Peckham (SE14, SE15), Lewisham (SE13) and Canary Wharf (E14) — plus live online lessons worldwide.
